We stayed there on our way out of Botswana for one night - second half of Nov 2015.
Taxi driver had difficulty finding this place - as it is at the end of long, side, dirt road. This place is so secluded that you need a taxi to go anywhere. I guess it is OK to stay there for one night - considering the value - but no more than that.
Staff at the lodge was trying to be helpful - but overall was clueless, which was frustrating and giving them more work to do in the end. One example was giving us the room without working A/C (A/C remote missing). Later - when we already went to bed - and it became apparent - that it is too hot to sleep - receptionist gave me A/C pilot from another room. Since A/C in our room was "Samsung" and pilot she brought was "York" brand, it did not work of course. We ended up changing rooms (being the only guests in this lodge at the time). The thought of giving us room with working A/C did not occur to anyone. The other frustrating thing were prices for any food you would order there. They quoted me 160 Pula ($16) for a breakfast (2 eggs, strip of bacon, coffee). Considering the fact that much larger breakfast in the restaurant oriented primarily for tourists - just in front of the Maun airport costs $6 - you get the idea. My impression was - that they try to compensate for reasonable hotel rates with inflated menu prices.
Anyways - if you have a choice - do not stay there.
