We went here for a short weekend break, expecting a quiet, relaxing stay close to the beach. What we got, however, was not what we expected or paid for.
First of all this is a resort, so you are not at all getting anything like a hotel experience. It seems that most people rent rooms or own them and stay for long periods of time, so the atmosphere is almost a little too relaxed. Like some families have taken over their tiny plots of grass behind their patio doors with trashy toys and laundry. It feels like more of an apartment complex than a resort. There are also a TON families and children. Like just kids everywhere at every time of day and night.
The staff are friendly but clearly tired and do the bare minimum. Our room was not very clean when we arrived and we requested several times for the issues to be fixed (even took pictures to show the receptionists). They ended up cleaning a few of the more "easily noticeable" things, but we still had cobwebs and sand everywhere.
The place is just worn down. The rooms are falling apart and the internet is the absolute worst. There were not enough towels, the food was mediocre and expensive, and the bars close at 11 p.m. It was just meh.
I guess I would recommend this for families with small kids and do not really care about the quality of the location. It is in an EXCELLENT location and the resorts best features are its lawn chairs on the beach. So go if you know your family is going to be outside most of the time
