We stayed at the Point Waterfront 3 nights. Normally every stay through hotels.com is exactly as it appears and is always top quality, unfortunately this was not the case here. The apartment was dirty, there was broken cupboards, a green hot tub, nobody to meet us and show us where to park, so my car was clamped, the windows were loose, the patio doors wouldn't lock, the shower leaked so we had to use towels to mop up and nobody came to replace them. There was an inventory in place for the whole apartment which we were supposed to sign for and leave a deposit to cover, however the majority of the items were missing, such as glasses. There was supposed to be tea and coffee in the room, but none was left, batteries in tv remotes were dead, there was nails sticking out of one of the broken kitchen units, lights in one room flashed and in another room did not switch on at all. No wifi either. Overall it was thoroughly disappointing. I contacted the management team and the chairman who had left a welcome letter, but nobody replied to my emails and despite me calling a number of times, the management team did not come out to the apartment to see what my issues were. There were 3 parking spaces, all occupied by the apartment owner. The lack of any willingness to see why I was complaining just compounded the overall poor feeling towards the place. Zero service, dirty apartment, thoroughly disappointing.
