The place is going through extensive renovation which i was aware of, so the noise by the pool was not a surprise nor were the guys painting.
The room itself smelt of damp and the aircon failed to work, the toilets got blocked all in the first 24hr there. Jun did get everything working, but it felt for a 3 star place to be a big let down compared to other places we stayed in Thailand. The lack of staffing i didn't feel was a problem as Jun did everything himself and if it wasn't for him, this place would be a big let down.
The grounds are well kept as was the pool and bar area, the drinks are reasonably priced, but the lack of onsite food is a mark against this place.
On the plus side, the fact you can be nude at the pool was a big attraction for me, so well done on that.
Location is a bit out of town, but not a big problem, however the distance does not stop the sounds from the clubs resonating in your room, not the places fault so it's not on them.
Jun makes this place, but as a gay destination it has a long way to catch up with just the basic accommodation in Thailand.
