Overall we enjoyed our time here, there is supposedly a restaurant on site, but not really sure where or how to order. English is spoken very little and the day person who checked us in, well let's just say it was a challenge. The other issue I had was our room while titled "sea view" did not have a sea view from inside, just the balcony. For something reason they built a wall with no windows facing the sea.
This is a rustic real experience, if you want luxury, don't even come to this island.
Once we got over those two issues, we had a fabulous time on the island. Rent the motorbike the second you get off the boat, don't think twice about it. You will need it to really enjoy. The islanders were amazingly friendly, twice just driving us some place instead of giving us directions. We were even invited to a pig roast we came across on the bike. We saw a monitor lizard at Buddha's foot prints and got the picture of a life time at the yellow Buddha. A few decent restaurants too, probably more if we had stayed longer. We sipped beer on the balcony in the evenings enjoying the ocean. Our neighbors bbq'd, but they were from Bangkok and came equipped.
We stayed two nights, and truthfully could have done 4, but then we like to take it easy. If you was fast and exciting, you might also want to stay away.
