I got covid the during the night before i was supposed to stay, i notified the hotel 7am the morning of my reservation to say i wont be coming in that evening. i understand it was last minute and i still could have come to the hotel and put the health of the staff at risk but decided to do the right thing and cancel.
They kept my money , and when i checked later to see if the room was available online, it wasnt, so i guess they booked it out again and doubled down.
I didnt expect a refund, but i asked the hotel for at least a credit for a stay in the future, or half the credit for what i spent. Not impressed.
