The check-in process may not be easy to everybody. You must have internet connection and a working device to receive the code to open the door. In our case, that code was sent while we were travelling, so it was not comfortable.
The worst came after. We had a 20 hour travel, with a delay in our arrival in Amsterdam. So we got to the hotel at 2:30am aprox. When we open the door of our room there was someone already there!! We went down to the person in charge, he had no idea that the room had been overbooked and had no option for our night. We were exhausted and desperate. He contacted some hotels for a room with no success, probably cheap hotels, because, fortunately, I used the expedia app and found a room in the Hyatt Regency, a couple of minutes nearby.
The next day I received a call from the Junker staff, they asked if I would return to the hotel for the remaining days, I said no, and they were very rude and just hung up the call.
Otra cosa: los sitios expedia no están interconectados y eso causa problemas. Por ejemplo, tradicionalmente uso expedia.com, pero esta reserva aparece por expedia.es y la del hyatt salio por expedia.nl Al buscar los itinerarios, cada sitio muestra su propia lista, a pesar de que soy un único usuario.
