One of the worst hotels I have stayed at. Reception and management had no record of our reservation and said they do not normally work with hotels.com. I had requested hotels.com to contact them to arrange the free airport transfer but hotels.com was not able to contact them. Booking conformation contained only a phone contact which did not work and no email contact.
We were nevertheless provided with a room but the first room I was provided did not have hot water - broken when I called someone. I was then given another room.
Kettle did not work and I called someone who then found it was not working and brought another one.
Everyday housekeeping would take away dirty towels and not replace them. I had to ask for towels every evening,
Staff clearly needs a lot of training.
At the hotel manager's request, we asked hotels.com for a refund which was agreed, and we paid the hotel cash on the spot - turned out to be cheaper but after a lot of hassle.
We chose this hotel because it was within walking distance of African Union building and Yebo hotel was fully booked, Colleagues staying at Yebo were satisfied.
Most of the staff at Blue Nest spoke limited English
Breakfast service acceptable but food choice limited and consisted mainly of local dishes.
