Guzide Cave Hotel is close to a mini-store, a couple of great restaurants, and a panoramic viewing point perfect for sunset view of the town and the rock formations, as well as the sunrise view providing intimate encounters with the hot air balloons. It is a short walk from the town center where shops and restaurants line the streets.
The hotel itself is very beautiful like many other hotels in the area. Our room was comfortable.
The staff gave us a warm welcome and made our stay feel like we're home. Emine (the "mother chef"), Felice (housekeeping), Ata, and Eli (who support Murat), were all helpful and fun to talk to.
Murat, the hotel's manager, took good care of our needs. He was very reliable and flexible with booking* the activities. He ensured information were clear from both parties. He also shared great recommendations from restaurants to shops (Yemeni shoes are a must!). The quality of the services he offers reflected the high standards of such recommendations. He knew the area extremely well. He was able to answer our questions adequately.
Our visit to Kapadokya is one for the books. Thanks to Guzide Cave Hotel and to Murat for being instrumental to that.
* Yes, you'll find cheaper option(s) when booking activities in town/outside the hotel; but I'm not sure about their quality or lack thereof.
