The arrival was a very bad experience. I had already paid for the room in advance, but they said this was not on their records. So, I was asked to pay. I then showed my reservation number, the confirmation by hotels.com, and even my credit card email alert . They were unable to find my reservation, and keep saying that I had not paid.
Their behavior was totally unprofessional. They did not do what to do. I had to tell them to call to Expedia. I also had to tell them to check the confirmation booking number. They insisted on checking my name, instead of the booking number. And so, I had to wait for half an hour , as they wanted to consult a person (I don't know if from Expedia or whatever) who should come. In the end, when this person arrive --without talking to me-- they found my booking ok, and they apologized saying it was their mistake.
They did not offer any compensation for all the hassle and the waiting, nor they seemed to care that they had done something very wrong. I was so disappointed that I even refused to talk to them any more .
It was a very peculiar experience, as these things do not happen in Japan, and if they do, they always try to compensate and correct their mistakes.
In summary, this is not a good hotel. Completely unprofessional. They only want your money for a extremely small room and a very high price, and they do not offer anything valuable in exchange. And they do not know how to behave.
