Agradable y limpio

El lugar es agradable, la habitación es pequeña pero limpia y con lo necesario para pasar la noche. En la parte de abajo hay un bar, la comida es buena y la atención muy amable.

Room okay, but strange banging noises

The room was certainly acceptable, although it was a bit small, but it was clean. It also had a shower with a door instead of a curtain, which is always more pleasant. What was strange was that I heard an irregular banging noise all night long (room 1). At first, I thought it was coming from the saloon, but it had been closed for a long time. Maybe something in the pipes? As a result, I hardly slept.

Cabin and stunning views

this was an amazing place to stay facing the turnagain arm. Was a great place to rest after a day of adventuring and exploring. There’s even a bar and restaurant downstairs to get food as well.

Tiny room with very basic stuff for only sleep.

If you don't consider the price, this place gets 2/10. The room is very small. Other than a very small bed, you don't have anything. No chair to sit on, to desk/table, no hair dryer, TV, iron, or even room cleaning. I didn't even get a new coffee pods, paper cup... During the 3 days stay. I had only for the first day. I mainly used the place to go to bed and leave in the morning. If you consider the fact that the price is lower for the area, you can give a bit higher score (4-5). The location is OK. But even for buying a coffee or breakfast you have to drive 15 miles. I probably won't book this place again.

Excellent value.

We had a nice little cabin all to ourselves. The lady at the Saloon, who seemed to often be running the place all by herself (waiting tables, cooking, taking care of payment, etc. always took time to take care of our concerns (get us supplies such as toilet paper, etc.). We were well taken care of, and it was a nice, quiet place. The food offered in the Saloon was good also. Add to this the fact that this was one of the least expensive options and it was a very good deal.

This is a crazy little place -- bar downstairs, small rooms upstairs, complete with a full bath, microwave and fridge. It was a great experience. Not your typical place to stay in, but I'm glad I did!

We stayed here on our first night in Alaska so that we could get a little ways out of Anchorage and prepare our stuff for the remaining trip. Unfortunately the rooms are above the saloon which was exactly what is advertised but I did not realize how inconvenient that would be. I was uncomfortable walking up and down the staircase with the gear. If we had stayed later in the trip my experience would have been different. The burgers and beer were wonderful and worth the visit. The room is small but clean and had a good hot shower. The location is perfect and very convenient for a stay just outside of Anchorage.

Not much to look at and the room was small but, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was on the second floor above the bar, surprisingly it was not noisy at all. The bar is a unique place with a lot of bar charm. We ate chicken wings and they were good. The one staff person we saw took care of everything. She was the registration desk, barmaid and waitress. She was friendly and provided excellent service. There was a nice walking path nearby. Definitely no frills but for a one night stay it was fine.

When your picture is of a cabin and you show up to check in to find out it is not a cabin but your booking states you stay or forfeit your money you stay in the tiny room above the Biker Bar with the unsafe railings, rickety stairs, uneven floor and wires from the non existent smoke alarm dangling from the ceiling. Don’t remember what amenities were listed, but no tv, no wifi, seemingly nothing included. Would have driven the half hour to Girdwood had there been any inkling what was being provided was not what was pictured. While I may have spent as much as nine hours there, virtually no sleep was gotten.

I guess for what it is, it's ok, but the walls are paper thin ... the man next door sneezed and i said God bless you and he said thank you! It says there's internet, but not really. I could never get connected. We just stayed one night so IDK about the surrounding area. It would be a good port in a storm, but otherwise I would pass on this in the future
