We pre-paid for two rooms with airport pickup included in the price. Did not receive any meaningful response except a business phone number to call (see photo 1) on arrival, even though I put in several prior inquiries with detailed information necessary for airport pickup (via Hotrls.com app and text messages). We almost got stood up at the airport!
Once arrived (room 107) we noticed a strong odor of industrial nature (They were renovating the whole wing and the room just adjacent to us). At my request for a room change, it was promptly denied by the man, presumably the manager, at the reception (I was asked to pay an additional 2500 liras for an upgraded family room, which I declined.)
There was only one hangar in the closet (photo 2), no coffee or tea in the room (photo 3) and no towel rack or hangar in the bath to hang our wet towels. At the request for coffee in the room, I was flatly denied that the hotel provides such amenities in rooms.
Breakfast starts at 7am, so if you have an early fly out the next morning, forget about it. You will not be served (grab bags on the go!). I travel thru IST a lot and I’ve stayed in other hotels nearby. Unfortunately, this one was hands down the worst!
