We stayed for three nights in a City Studio. While the hotel has a modern, chic vibe and is well-located, overall it didnāt quite meet our expectations.
Breakfast was offered at ā¬23 per person, per day ā which we felt was far too expensive. We opted not to take it, as there are plenty of great local cafĆ©s nearby, plus a more affordable coffee shop within the hotel itself.
Early check-in was available from 2pm for an extra fee, but we skipped that and were able to access our room from 3pm without issue. The room itself was stylish but quite compact, and not ideal for us as we were travelling onward with large suitcases. There wasnāt much space to unpack or store things, and we ended up living out of our open cases on the bed, which wasnāt great.
The small sofa and kitchen area were nice touches, though we didnāt really use them. One big drawback was the lack of space to get ready ā there wasnāt a dedicated area to sit and dry hair or do makeup comfortably. The bathroom was also tiny, and unfortunately the shower leaked onto the floor each time we used it.
Another downside was that thereās no daily cleaning service ā so we had to ask for fresh towels to mop up the leaking shower each day.
The pool area was a nice feature, but it was incredibly busy during our stay, overcrowded with people even lying on the surrounding grass. It felt far too small to accommodate the number of guests.
On a positive note, the bar area was lovely and the staff were attentive.
