I have to say; for the money it cost, I expected more. The room was very small and the carpet was pretty dirty as, when I walked from the bathroom to the bedroom with damp feet after a shower, I found long back hairs on my feet and a lot more were embedded in the carpet at the foot end of the bed. I found the room very stuffy and even with all windows open I didn't sleep very well. With that in mind I would suggest some form of air-con would probably make the place a lot more comfortable for guests during the Summer months.
Other than that, the only time I saw staff was the following morning as there seems to be no late afternoon/evening presence there, but the staff I did see were friendly, helpful and courteous, so were excellent and a credit to the Guest House.
Best thing about the stay was the breakfast; tasty, really well cooked and presented.
Would I stay again: probably, only as it's a short walk into the High Street and all the excellent restaurants and bars available there.
