Pros:
Excellent location, one of the safest districts on the city, near the Paulista Avenue. Just couple squares from the hotel you can find shops, restaurants, subway station, Sao Paulo Art Museum, etc.
At 100m you have the "Ten. Siqueira Campos" Park, a small oasis of peace and quieteness (sourounded by native vegetation) in the middle of the bigest city in south America.
The hotel is clean and comfortable, the personnel is attentive, the restaurant is average.
Cons:
The corridor from the elevator to the room looks and smells old. The room's bathroom looks old and bad mantained (specifically the shower head).
Due the hotel location location, the room was a little noisy, but after 22:00 or so, the traffic dimish and then becomes quieter.
