We had a really enjoyable holiday at Sa Prata, liking how the resort was small and had character. The individual "houses" in which the rooms are were lovely and kept very clean. The location, a short walk down to the local beach was almost perfect for us (would have benefitted from the use of a car though you can get your way around a bit on local buses) and the view of the sea from the hotel was beautiful, especially at sunset. As I was pregnant, this was just the kind of relaxing holiday I needed.
The majority of staff made us feel very welcome and were really helpful, especially Francesca, who is lovely. However, we were disappointed by how we were treated by Gianni. Initially he was very friendly on reception, telling us what we needed to know and being warm, but this changed rapidly to be replaced by something verging on hostility, to the point where we wondered what we had done wrong! At times when we ordered something from the bar we were met with no words, just the item plonked down on the counter. I found his behaviour passive aggressive and upsetting sometimes because you want to feel welcome on holiday. A real shame because otherwise I would have said Sa Prata resort was a wonderful, perfect place. And there are many wonderful elements to it and like I say, all other staff were welcoming, incredibly helpful (even giving us a quick lift into the local town / collecting us when we got stranded!) and professional at all times.
