My girlfriend and I recently stayed here for three nights as part of a trip around Croatia.
Firstly, the apartment itself was lovely. The apartment is located a stone’s throw away from the Main Street in the old town, but is up A LOT of stairs - not a problem for us, but not appropriate with anyone with mobility issues or small children.
Unfortunately, that is where our positive review ends. We were met at the apartment by a woman who was, quite frankly, rude. She was short and snappy and didn’t really answer any of our questions. (It seemed like an inconvenience that we wanted to know about the local area.) She explained to us in more than one room at a time and it was not to be put on less than 20°c. She also told us we must turn it off when not in the apartment. One of these stipulations would have been understandable, but all three together meant that apartment was uncomfortably warm the whole stay. We did put the air con down to 19°c one evening, and the following day got an angry email and a note through the door.
We enquired by a late check out, sent several emails, none of which were responded to (interesting an email was sent about the air con).
We were informed that the bedding would be changed after the second day - it was not (however the towels were).
Overall, the apartment is well located, spacious and clean, but the poor service and unbearable air conditioning situation means that we would not return.
