When we arrived they could not find our reservation. They found it by the confirmation number, not my name. Then, there was not a room like we had requested, so the hotel upgraded us, told us no extra charge. Then they came back and charged us $30 for the room because management would not waive the extra. I made this reservation and paid for it on 1/7/25...they gave the reason that it did not hit their computers until we tried to check in. Expedia refused to accept responsibility; hotel refused to be courteous. I am frustrated since I could not cancel the reservation without losing the money that I had paid months ago in good faith. For the breakfast - we found that the eggs were extremely salty and we were unable to eat them...so we had to go out. Would I stay here again - probably not. That management would not waive $30 and to avoid the risk of losing a customer does not sit well with me. That we heard the people upstairs walking and jumping/running? including during the night was little much. The people at the desk, however, were very pleasant and helped when they could.
