La Baule-Escoublac

La Baule (La Baule-Escoublac, to give it its full name) is a chic seaside resort on the Côte d 'Amour in the south of Brittany. Located on the Guérande peninsula and bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, it's particularly renowned for its almost 8-km-long beach, which is the longest in Europe.

Known and popular since the beginning of the 20th century, the town of La Baule has developed around tourism and offers a large selection of quality hotels and restaurants. Apart from the beach and its activities, La Baule and its surroundings offer many things to see and do for spicing up your holidays. Coastal paths, historic villas, a racecourse, the Guérande salt marshes and a casino are just a few examples of what La Baule has to offer.
