This hotel was a disappointment to say the least. It was extremely difficult to find because there was no signs in English, people in the neighborhood had no idea what I was talking about, and the hotel grounds were poorly lit. WIFI was not accessible inside of the room, you will have to sit outside to get that, which is a pain in the winter. There was no reception/office, which was fine, but for some reason I had to be handed a phone with a guy (the owner) on the other side asking for money, even though I had paid online.
The condition of the room had much to be desired. There were unsightly stains on the couch/folding bed, the couches were falling apart or broken and everything just seemed to be of poor quality. The bed and sleeping couch were uncomfortable as well.
Lastly, this hotel has the potential for a great view when you wake up to the Sea of Galilee, but instead a giant contruction vehicle (front end loader) was in the way. Not so much of a great view.
I do hope the owners put in the extra effort. I think that there is a good amount of potential for this place, but unfortunately the value was no where near what we paid.
Jacuzzi in the room was neat, but we never used it so I can't comment.
