The photo in the add is not necessarily the studio you're getting. Upon my arrival I found the studio I'd been given to be *very* dirty. I was tossed from one studio to another with the promise that the second studio was "clean and ready for me", only to discover that it was worse than the first! It took the woman managing the property to come all the way down from Cancun for the space to be properly cleaned. This was 3 days after my arrival in Playa del Carmen and not the way I needed to start my much-needed vacation.
If you're looking for a quiet location, this isn't the place. If that doesn't bother you, then you'll be right at home at this location. The local rooster crowed most mornings starting as early as 3-4 AM, the restaurant across the street blasted music at decibels I've never heard before and, the local dogs could bark up a real storm. If you're looking for a more authentic Mexican experience, this is the place! Despite the noise, I felt relatively safe in this location. The property had a locked gate at the front with studio access through a separate locked door.
The studio, while it had a kitchenette, was completely lacking in anything useful to prepare a meal, including a coffee maker. The few pots and plates there were had clearly been cobbled together by previous guests. If you're looking for a place where you can prepare your breakfast quite easily (let alone any other meal), this isn't the place.
