We had a wonderful stay here!
The property is beautiful. Stayed in honeymoon suite and was very affordable. Didn’t use the heart shaped tub so can’t speak to that-but shower was massive!Located at km 15.5 on Ruta de los Cenotes. Multiple amazing cenotes within walking distance. Recommend “7 Bocas” and “Verde Lucero”.
We stayed when there was only 1 other long-term tenant present. Felt like we were in the jungle with the place to ourselves for a couple days. He was a big help navigating the particulars of the place. Staff didn’t speak English, but our rudimentary knowledge of Spanish got the job done. Owner was an expat, we met once. Was friendly, and said she didn’t like to be seen as “the owner” which was a nice change from many places.
f you’re wanting to head into town- recommend having your own vehicle as it’s a 400 peso cab ride into Puerto Morelos.
Found someone to take us back to property for 300. That would add up quickly if doing multiple times.
Simple menu-breakfast was included.
Dinners can be had for 150-200 pesos I believe.
Was 2 options, 1 at lower price, 1 at higher.
That said-we heard changes are coming to the food services soon. (Hi Bill!)
Chickens everywhere free range. Pigs in pens. Geese, ducks, guinea pig, hedgehog, multiple friendly dogs.
Lovely pool area and lounging zone.
Hammocks and beach loungers.
Would return for sure, but would bring a rental car next time.
